Long-Term Work Terms

Please read below for more information about the terms of the engagement you are working.

There is a 5-day trial period (Trial Period) where both you and the Requestor can see if you want to continue with this engagement.

During the Trial Period, either you or the Requestor may end (or terminate) the engagement for any reason. To withdraw from your engagement you can do so by connecting with one of our chat Support Specialists. Simply open your Wonolo app, go to Account > Help and click the Chat bubble. You will be transferred to a live agent who will be able to help with your request.

Unpaid Personal Days begin during the Trial Period (your first 5 jobs in this engagement). Any withdrawals or "no Call, No Show," may terminate your engagement.

Trial Period

A “No Call, No Show” occurs when you miss a day of work without contacting the Requestor. If you No Call, No Show, the engagement may be terminated at that point. If the engagement is terminated as a result of “No call, No Shows”, this will result in 3 breach points.

Unpaid Personal Days (FKA Service Breaks)

You will receive 1 Unpaid Personal Day (non-paid day off) for every 15 shifts accepted for your long-term work engagement, including the trial period. Unpaid Personal Days can only be redeemed after the 5-day trial period and you will continue to earn this every 15 accepted shifts. In the event that you did not use the Unpaid Personal Day, it will be carried over and can be used within the same engagement.

To request an Unpaid Personal Day or withdraw from your engagement, you can do so by connecting with one of our chat Support Specialists. Simply open your Wonolo app, go to Account > Help and click the Chat bubble. You will be transferred to a live agent who will be able to help with your request.

To take a Unpaid break day, notify the Requestor at least 12 hours' notice for planned Unpaid Personal Days and 2 hours’ notice for unplanned Unpaid Personal Days. Providing insufficient notice or taking additional Unpaid Personal Days may result in termination of the engagement. 

If you have an emergency, you can reach out to the Requestor to discuss if you need additional Unpaid Personal Days. 

You will not receive any compensation for Unpaid Personal Days because you are not providing any services to the Customer during an Unpaid Personal Day. Unpaid Personal Days included in this engagement can only be used for this engagement and not another engagement.

If you choose to terminate the entire Engagement: If you want to terminate the engagement after the Trial Period, you should provide 12 hours’ notice, when possible, to the Requestor. Terminating the engagement can be done by connecting with one of our chat Support Specialists. Simply open your Wonolo app, go to Account > Help and click the Chat bubble. You will be transferred to a live agent who will be able to help with your request.
