Wonolo’s COVID-19 Quarantine Pay policy is focused on supporting Wonoloers who are actively working during this crisis. Because Wonolo is still a small company with limited resources, there are requirements for eligibility, as well as limits to payments, in order to make this policy more sustainable.

After submitting your claim for Quarantine Pay, the team at Wonolo will do its best to process your request within 7 days. Failure to submit documentation with the requested information may result in processing delays. We are also currently experiencing high case volumes and appreciate your patience.
When you submit a claim for Quarantine Pay assistance, your Wonolo account may be put on temporary hold as a safety measure to limit the spread of COVID-19. The temporary hold on your account will generally be 10 days but may vary based on the time period stated in your documentation. You will not be able to accept jobs via the Wonolo platform while your account is on hold. Even though your account is on hold, please understand that we will still need to review your application to determine if you qualify for Quarantine Pay assistance. Account holds will be automatically lifted once the hold period has expired.
Quarantine Pay is calculated based on the average of your past 30 days’ active daily earnings prior to the quarantine order (so if you worked 10 out of the past 30 days, we will average the earnings from those 10 days and pay you for 33% of your self-quarantine period). If you have submitted the appropriate documentation with all information requested, you may receive up to a maximum of 10 days of Quarantine Pay assistance. The exact amount of your Quarantine Pay payment will depend on your level of work completed, as outlined above.
Wonolo reserves the right to approve or deny requests for Quarantine Pay at our discretion. Wonoloers are only eligible to receive Quarantine Pay once every 12 months.
