Let’s meet Jamil!

Hi everyone! My name is Jamil Muhammad, and I’m a customer success manager here with Wonolo. I’ve been on the team for about six months and I’m located in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

What’s the most exciting challenge you’ve solved at Wonolo?

The most exciting challenge that I’ve solved at Wonolo would definitely be our Wanda Reset Initiative. What this allowed me to do was remotely reset all of our customers who had iPads at their locations. This was an initiative not only led by myself but the entire team. It allowed me visibility and insight into what it took to manage a project of this scale and what it takes to complete it in a certain amount of time. Needless to say, we did it! It was rewarding to know that impact made a difference and that my leadership could count on me to get it done.

What’s the skill you want to learn?

I would like to learn something involving coding. That’s the way of the future. It strikes home because, as a customer success manager, my main goal is to solve my customers’ issues and predict the issues before they happen. If I’m able to wear that engineering hat and that customer-facing hat, I feel like I could be like Michael Jordan in his prime at that point, because I could do anything.

What’s one perk of working from home?

One perk of working from home for me would have to be the comfortability aspect. Some days I like to get dressed up, sit at my desk, and work. Other days, it’s pajamas and sometimes it’s pajamas and a nice top or jogging pants! Being able to be comfortable in my own space is a major perk for me.
