Last week, we hosted a happy hour event with CareMessage, another startup located just down the street from our office in San Francisco’s Financial District. CareMessage is a nonprofit platform, and, notably, a Y Combinator alum, that connects healthcare organizations to underserved patients to improve their health experiences and outcomes through mobile health technology — a very relevant and useful idea in today’s complicated healthcare environment.
We were thrilled to welcome the members of the awesome team at CareMessage to hang out at our office and chat over drinks and snacks to unwind after the workday. We showed them around our office, shared stories of working in the startup community, and even got a little competitive with them at our ping pong table and double shot basketball game!
Coming from our roots at WeWork, where we were surrounded by amazing startups every day, we love the energy of interacting and collaborating with other emerging companies. We had a great time hanging out with the CareMessage team – it’s always so inspiring to hear about the company culture at fellow startups and learn from other companies on the same journey as us. We can’t wait for more of these gatherings in the future! Who’s up for some beer and ping pong? #startuplife.
