Wonolo
Hey there! I’m Irving from Newark, NJ and I heard about Wonolo a year and a half ago through a friend. I was on the job hunt and told a few folks I was looking for work, and someone suggested I download the Wonolo app.
For me, Wonolo was perfect to find work while I was in between jobs. It can be a stressful time when you’re unemployed, and I think Wonolo is unique because people can find work without having to worry about the long term commitment. I found work that paid well and that I really enjoyed. The jobs that I accepted could work around any other responsibilities, so it made my work-life balance more attainable.
I chose jobs that were close to home and that were in the food industry since I have a background in that. Every time I selected a job, I would meet amazing people that felt like a community. That was everyone from the business owners, their workers, and Wonoloers.
Wonolo allowed me to continue working with tremendous flexibility. I have a full-time job now, but I still keep the notifications on so I can accept jobs and earn some extra money on the side!
