Wonolo
Hey! My name is Martin and I’m a Wonoloer in the New Jersey area. I’m originally from Queens, NY. I moved to Jersey in March of this year. I was looking for work in my new neighborhood, but it wasn’t the easiest to find since the pandemic had just begun.
My girlfriend told me about the app, so I downloaded it to check it out. At first, I wasn’t too sure if it was real, but after working a couple of jobs and reading great reviews, I started to love what I was doing.
I’ve been able to gain a lot of new skills and experience while working. I’ve found that I really enjoy merchandising, so I try to select those jobs. I am a determined person and always try my best. I don’t have a car, so I either get rides, use ride-sharing apps, or public transportation to get to all my Wonolo jobs.
What surprised me the most about accepting Wonolo jobs was how quickly I could get paid. If I know I have a bill on Friday, I can work a job on Tuesday and have the funds in on time to pay my bills. It’s different from traditional pay and I prefer it this way!
