Wonolo
Growing up, Mark enjoyed the hands-on approach to learning. He loved playing soccer and working on cars. He almost made the national soccer team in El Salvador, but after an injury, that dream disappeared. He stuck with fixing cars but mainly approached it as a hobby. Like most students, he worked in retail and felt worn out by the daily grind. A friend told him about Wonolo, so he downloaded the app and started working jobs right away!
He began to work shifts at Good Eggs and noticed that a lot of the company vehicles were breaking down. He told his leaders he could repair them. They saw his skills, consistent work ethic, and promoted him to a full-time role as an assistant fleet supervisor. He managed a fleet of vehicles day in and day out. He would have never thought that his love of working on cars would become a career! Through Wonolo, he saw the potential in himself and now always is going to pursue his dreams!
