Please introduce yourself.
Hi there. My name is Daphne Clark and I am a Customer Success Associate. I am located in our Nashville office and I help onboard new customers. I also help our existing customers continue to be successful, help with program management, and process development.
What events in your life have brought you to your current role today?
There are many events in my life that have brought me to Wonolo. Long story short, I actually went to school for music therapy and I was a practicing music therapist. After a while, I realized it wasn’t quite my calling and fell in love with the technology world. Bridging technology and customer success together has helped me translate those qualities and skillsets that I acquired as a therapist to really help our customers and our users feel that they are cared for and that we want them to be successful.
When you have to make a difficult decision, what do you lean on?
I first lean on my instincts. They have never let me down! After that, I then find the data or proof that backs up my instincts. You can’t always do everything on a hunch, but your hunch can definitely lead you to your solution as long as you have the tools and the resources to prove that your intuition is, in fact, correct.
What is one life advice you can give to anyone?
My advice for life is to own your own happiness. I picked that up as a therapist working in hospice with patients who are in their end of life. You find that they have a lot of wisdom to share. I’ll never forget, one woman told me that she was ready to move on because she felt that she owned her happiness. Although you can’t always control what happens in life, you do have the power to make choices. To create a life in which you’re happy, content and feel empowered to just own your life cycle and story. So own your happiness!
