Let’s meet Laura!
Hi, I’m Laura Crane. I’m a data analyst on the revenue and strategy operations team. I’ve been at Wonolo for about a year and a half.
What events in your life have brought you to your current role today?
I’ve always been naturally curious. My first job out of school got me excited about data, and I pursued a career in analytics ever since. I love working at Wonolo because I love being able to go to work every day knowing that the things I do are helping other people also find fulfilling work.
When you have to make a difficult decision, what do you lean on?
When I have to make a difficult decision, I usually think about the people in my life and how the decision may affect. If it’s only myself that’s affected by the decision, I usually try to remove my emotion from the facts of the decision. Weighing the decision from an emotional and factual standpoint usually gives me clarity and confidence that the choice I’m making is the best.
What is one piece of life advice you can give to anyone?
The best piece of advice I could give someone is not to be afraid to be a beginner. So many things I’ve learned over the years were because I’ve been brave enough to start and convince myself that it’s okay to struggle at first. You just have to remember that each time you do it, it will get easier.

If you really knew me, you would know that I love baseball. I love going out to games. My home team is the Oakland A’s. And when I’m at the baseball game, I usually like to keep score by hand.
