Choura Events used Wonolo to seamlessly connect with skilled workers for large-scale events

Choura Events builds today’s top events and experiences from the ground up — from large tents and structures, to multi-day festivals and events such as Coachella, Stagecoach, The Grammys, BNP Parabis Tennis Open, and the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. As demand for Choura’s services grows, so does its need for additional workers — fast.

The company can be working on up to 15 events around the country in a single day. Under tight timelines for each event, it’s imperative that Choura has qualified installers to assist. Jeff Ginter, Choura’s operations manager, found that most temp labor providers “had difficulty accommodating the short turnaround and providing workers with the right skill sets.” Given the unpredictable nature of the events world, he needed help finding the best local workers on a daily basis.

Wonolo enabled Choura to connect with more workers at half the cost of traditional staffing solutions. Those other staffing solutions, according to Ginter, couldn’t handle the short lead time that is critical for the scale and volume of the events world.
